Welcome to Slidyo! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, platform, presentation creation services, and application interfaces (collectively, the "Services").
The Services are owned, developed, and operated by Vefactor Yazılım Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), registered at Sırakapılar Mah. Saltak Cad. No: 59 İç Kapı No: 9, 20010 Merkezefendi/Denizli, Türkiye.
By creating an account, accessing our platform, or using our Services, you enter into a legally binding contract with us based on these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
Eligibility and Accounts
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or use our Services.
- Account Security: When you create an account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account security credentials. You must immediately notify us at support@slidyo.com of any unauthorized access or breach of security.
- Team Workspaces: If you create an account or add seats on behalf of a company, organization, or team, you represent and warrant that you have the explicit corporate authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Subscriptions, Payments, and Merchant of Record
- Reseller Partnership: Slidyo uses Paddle.com as its authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record for all paid subscription services. When you complete a transaction to unlock paid subscription tiers or extra team seats, you buy the subscription via Paddle’s interface.
- Governing Financial Terms: All commercial payment interactions, transaction invoicing, localization taxes, and automatic renewals are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy.
- Billing Cycles: Paid features are offered on recurring monthly or annual billing intervals. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing window using your chosen payment method unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
- Cancellations and Refunds: You can cancel automated renewals at any time by navigating to the Paddle Customer Portal link in your invoice or by visiting https://paddle.net. Refund requests are evaluated and processed by Paddle in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 Slidyo's Property
Except for User Content (defined below), all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including our web application, source code, underlying software infrastructure, visual interface layouts, design templates, logos, styling presets, and proprietary AI tools, remain the exclusive property of Vefactor Yazılım Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi and its licensors.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform solely for the purpose of building and presenting your materials in compliance with these Terms.
3.2 User Content and Presentations
- Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of all data, text, branding assets, custom layouts, graphics, and information that you upload, paste, or create within the platform ("User Content"). Slidyo claims no ownership rights over your presentations.
- License to Slidyo: By uploading or creating User Content, you grant Slidyo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, transfer, and render your materials solely to deliver the Services to you and your authorized link recipients or Team Workspace members.
- AI Generation Feature: If you use our integrated AI prompting systems to generate presentation templates, slides, or copywriting, you own the resulting generated layouts and text to the absolute extent permitted under applicable intellectual property laws.
Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities
You agree that you will not use Slidyo to build, host, share, or broadcast content that, or engage in activities that:
- Infringes, violates, or misappropriates any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or moral rights.
- Is illegal, defamatory, abusive, tracking-invasive, harmful, or explicitly fraudulent.
- Spreads malicious digital software, viruses, or phishing links designed to exploit viewer devices.
- Scrapes, crawls, reverse-engineers, decompiles, or attempts to extract the source code of our platform without our express written consent.
- Overloads, bypasses, or disrupts our server capabilities, hosting performance, or network security gates.
We reserve the immediate right to review your usage metrics and suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if we have reasonable grounds to believe your User Content or platform activity violates these Acceptable Use rules.
Shared Presentation Links and Engagement Analytics
- Public Link Risk: When you share a presentation using our generated hyperlink mechanisms, anyone with access to that link can view the presentation contents. You are solely responsible for ensuring your presentation configuration matches your corporate confidentiality requirements.
- Viewer Analytics Notice: Slidyo incorporates engagement analytics features that track how recipients view and navigate through shared presentations. If you keep this tracking layer active on your shared links, Slidyo displays a transparent tracking notice to viewers.
- Creator Responsibility: As a document creator, you remain responsible for ensuring that your collection and evaluation of viewer analytics data matches all applicable privacy legal frameworks in your local operational territory.
Limitation of Liability and Warranties
- Provided "As-Is": Slidyo is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Platform Interruptions: We do not warrant that our platform layout processing, AI features, or cloud-hosted shared links will be completely uninterrupted, secure, or free from functional errors.
- Financial Cap: To the absolute extent permitted under Turkish Law and global consumer regulations, the total liability of Vefactor Yazılım Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total financial amount paid by you to our reseller Paddle for accessing the Services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event that triggered the legal claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Slidyo, Vefactor Yazılım Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, and our officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any third-party legal claims, regulatory fines, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:
- Your unauthorized or illegal use of our platform tools.
- Your User Content infringing a third party's legal copyrights or trademark properties.
- Your distribution of presentation links that violate local recipient privacy protection regimes.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Applicable Jurisdiction: These Terms, your legal relationship with Slidyo, and any non-financial disputes arising from the platform are governed exclusively by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Court Jurisdiction: Any formal dispute, litigation, or legal claim that cannot be resolved through amicable business mediation shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Denizli, Türkiye.
- Paddle Transaction Disputes: Financial billing disputes, payment card chargebacks, and transaction tax discrepancies are evaluated separately by our reseller Paddle under English law or applicable country-specific terms outlined in the Paddle Buyer Agreement.
Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to adapt to new platform feature deployments, pricing modifications, shifting server infrastructure setups, or international legal upgrades.
When revisions occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If a modification materially impacts your user rights, we will notify you inside the platform interface or via your registered email address before the change goes live. Continuing to use Slidyo after updates take effect confirms your acceptance of the revised Terms.
